Trade Occupation Draw

The most recent draw, targeting Express Entry candidates in the Trade occupations, showcases Canada's dedication to filling precise skill gaps within its labour market. By customizing the invitation round to meet the demands of particular industries, the IRCC is ensuring a balanced and well-rounded inflow of overseas talent that aligns with the country's economic needs.

Positive Signs for the Future

The constantly high number of Canada PR invitations throughout the year bodes well for prospective PR visa applicants dreaming to make Canada their next home. The IRCC's firm commitment to immigration targets, both for the Express Entry system and Provincial Nominee Programs (PNP), suggests that opportunities will continue to thrive in the coming year 2024.

Moreover, with the advent of Category-based draws, the applicants with experience in in-demand occupations will now get the ITA (Invitation to Apply) for Canadian Permanent Residency (PR) Visa despite having low CRS point score.
