FSWP- Eligibility Criteria

To qualify under FSWP, an applicant must meet the minimum eligibility criteria for:

Skilled work experience

To qualify and enter the Express Entry pool of candidates under FSWP, you, as a primary applicant, must have a minimum of 1 year of professional work experience in a full-time, paid job or an equal amount of part-time job gained within the past 10 years. In addition, the occupation must fall under the National Occupational Classification (NOC) TEER Categories 0, 1, 2, or 3.

Language skills

You must demonstrate your skills in any one or both the official languages of Canada, i.e., English and French. To qualify, you must undergo an IRCC approved language test and score minimum Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) 7.

Education level

You must have a certificate, degree or diploma from a secondary institution or post-secondary institution and submit an ECA (Educational Credential Assessment) report for the education obtained outside of Canada
