by Mansi Sahai Published on 03/Jan/2023

Over the years, Canada has emerged as one of the most open countries for immigrants around the globe who crave a better quality of life, immense job opportunities, and personal and professional growth. Therefore, the nation always strives to attract the maximum number of skilled workers who can contribute to the Canadian economy and fulfil labour market needs.

For this, the government offer a wide range of economic immigration programs that allow highly-skilled foreign nationals to apply for Canadian permanent residence and enter the labour force to improve Canada's productive capacity.

Among all such programs, one of the flagship immigration programs of Canada, which is highly popular among prospective migrants, is Express Entry's Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP).

This program is managed under the Federal Express Entry system. It is designed to select and invite skilled foreign workers to apply for and obtain a permanent residence visa in Canada. Under FSWP, candidates are selected based on their education, skills, work experience and ability to contribute to Canada's economy significantly.
