New Brunswick is the biggest of Canada’s three Maritime Provinces. Its Provincial Nominee Program (PNP). The key immigration programs associated with New Brunswick, invites the overseas candidates under various immigration streams, i.e. French speaking immigrants, Business immigrants, International students, etc. Find out latest NBPNP changes and updates:

Find below the key NB PNP changes and updates:

  • NOCs paused until further notice

From 20 May 2022, Opportunities New Brunswick has provisionally stopped the intake of applications in all immigration streams for the below-mentioned NOC occupations:

  • NOC 6311 –Food service supervisor
  • NOC 6711– Food counter attendant

NOC 6513 – Food and beverage servers

In case you are presently employed in these NOC’s you may refer IRCC for permanent and temporary immigration support.

  • New Brunswick Express Entry Stream

From 20th May 2022, Opportunities New Brunswick has provisionally stopped the New Brunswick Express Entry Stream to clear the backlog of applications.

There will be no further LOIs (letters of Interest) or ITAs sent while the Stream is paused. This includes applications with eligible connections. If you have received ITA via INB, you can submit an application. 

The ONB will process the received applications in such a way that best care the aims of the NB PNP. The applicants may experience some delay in processing times.
