Prince Edward Island Invites 149 Candidates in Latest PEI PNP Draw
On November 17, 2022, Prince Edward Island opened another Expression of Interest PNP draw and invited 149 eligible applicants under the Business Work Permit Entrepreneur and Labour Impact and Express Entry streams.
The applicants who have received their invitations in this draw must submit their provincial nomination application. Successful individuals will then get an invitation to apply for a Canada PR visa in the upcoming Express Entry draw.

- Minimum point requirement: 62
Prince Edward Island invites candidates under above-mentioned immigration categories and nominates eligible one for Canada PR visa.
So far in 2022, PEI has invited a total of 1647 candidates to apply for provincial nomination under Express Entry and Labour Impact categories and 129 candidates under its Business Work Permit Entrepreneur stream.
Express Entry
PEI PNP's Express Entry category works in association with the federal Express Entry system of Canada and allows the province to nominate candidates from Federal Skilled Trades Class, Federal Skilled Worker Class and Canadian Experience Class programs.
Labor Impact
PEI PNP's Labour Impact category is divided into following sub-categories:
- Skilled Workers (in and outside Canada)
- International Graduates
- Critical Workers
Business Impact: Work Permit Stream
Business applicants who received invitations via this sub-category must get a support letter from PEI for temporary work permit. Those who successfully meet the terms and conditions of PEI's business performance agreement then obtain a provincial nomination to apply for Canada PR visa.
