#233 Express Entry Draw

On October 12, 2022, Canada opened its latest Express Entry draw with a slightly lower CRS score of 500 points and issued 4,250 invitations to apply.

All-Program Express Entry Draw- October 12, 2022

  • Number of Invitations Issued: 4,250
  • Minimum CRS Score Requirement: 500
  • Program Specified:All-Programs
  • Tie-breaking rule:October 10, 2022 17:10:53 UTC

12th October draw was the eighth all-program EE draw since IRCC (Immigration, Refugee, Citizenship Canada) resumed all program draws on 6th July 2022.

In this draw, IRCC issued 4,250 Invitations to Apply (ITA)  to applicants with a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) of 500 points. There was no program specified for this draw, which means that invitations were issued to applicants under all three Express Entry programs, i.e.,

  • Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP)
  • Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP)
  • Canadian Experience Class (CEC)

The most recent EE draw saw a decrease of 4-points in CRS score requirement and 500 additional invitations were issued compared to the previously held draw. So far, this has been the lowest minimum score since IRCC resumed all program draws in July.

With every draw, CRS has been decreasing gradually as the applications backlog in the EE pool is processing smoothly. Over the first five EE draws, scores fell by 8 or 9 points for every draw.  While the number of ITAs issued is consistently increasing with each passing draw. Over the previous 3 draws, an additional 500 ITAs were issued.
