Analysis of New EE invitation round

The latest Express Entry draw focused on Canadian Experience Class (CEC) candidates, and the required Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score was higher than usual for a CEC draw. However, good news for those with lower CRS scores! Upcoming category-based draws are expected to have lower CRS cut-offs, making it easier for a wider range of applicants to qualify.

Category-Based Selections this year

Sticking with its established approach, Canada has maintained the same six categories for its targeted Express Entry draws throughout 2024. Let's take a look at these in-demand categories:

  • A strong French language proficiency or
  • Work experience in one of the below fields:
    • healthcare
    • science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) professions
    • trades, such as carpenters, plumbers and contractors
    • transport
    • agriculture and Agri-food

If you wish to immigrate to Canada in 2024, this is the ideal time to take the first step under the guidance of an expert.
