Analysis of New EE invitation round

The key highlight of this draw was the drop in the CRS (Comprehensive Ranking System) score requirement to just 410 points for Francophone candidates. Moreover, this month only, the Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has invited whopping 9,275 candidates to apply for Canadian Permanent Residency (PR) Visa in four express entry invitation rounds.

Category-Based Selections this year

Canada has continued the same six categories for category-based selection in Express Entry draws throughout 2024. These categories include:

  • A strong French language proficiency or
  • Work experience in one of the below fields:
    • healthcare
    • science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) professions
    • trades, such as carpenters, plumbers and contractors
    • transport
    • agriculture and Agri-food
