Alberta Advantage Immigration Program Invites 200 Candidates in Two AAIP Draws
The Alberta Advantage Immigration Program recently published the results of two Alberta Express Entry Stream draws held on 23rd and 19th January, respectively.
Alberta invited a total of 200 candidates in two draws and targeted candidates under the Alberta Express Entry stream. In 24th January draw, the province issued 154 notification of interest (NOIs) letters to candidates with experience in Tech occupations. While in the 19th January draw, the province invited 46 candidates with experience in health occupations.

Who is eligible under Alberta Express Entry stream?
To qualify, you must have an active Express Entry profile with a CRS score as per the draw, and a stated interest in moving to Alberta permanently.
The province has stated that the candidates under following scenarios might have higher chances of obtaining an NOI:
- Having a qualifying relative living in Alberta as a permanent resident or citizen of Canada
- Having a prior job offer or relevant work experience in Alberta
- Having completed a study program from a post-secondary institution in Alberta, Canada
