On June 21, 2022, British Columbia conducted three targeted BC PNP draws for in-demand workers. For these draws, the province prioritized applicants with experience as a tech professional, an early childhood educator, and a health-related occupation.

British Columbia has a critical requirement for more early childhood educators (ECEs) and health care workers. Therefore, the province prioritizes these occupations in BC PNP draws to support its economy further.
