By targeting skilled workers in above-mentioned sectors, the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) aims to address critical labour shortages and support the province's economic growth.
Entrepreneur Immigration BC PNP
Along with the targeted draws on 28 February, the BC PNP also held separate draws for entrepreneurs interested in immigrating to the province. Take a look:
In Entrepreneur stream draw, the BC invited a small number of candidates, i.e. less than five for the Regional Pilot and 7 for the Base Category of the Entrepreneur Immigration stream.
This draw shows BC’s commitment to support innovative and entrepreneurial candidates who can contribute to province’s economic growth and create new job prospects for the locals.
Largely, the recent targeted draws for skilled workers and the ITAs for Entrepreneur Immigration applicants show British Columbia's commitment to constructing a wide-ranging and innovative economy that can contest at international level.
