British Columbia Targeted PNP draws

On March 30, 2023, British Columbia PNP held targeted draws to invite 216 candidates to apply for provincial nomination. The province targeted key occupations, including Tech, Healthcare, and Childcare: Early childhood educators and assistants (NOC 42202).

In the first targeted draw, BC issued 165 ITAs (Invitations to Apply) for provincial nomination to the candidates with experience in Tech occupations. This draw specially targeted skilled workers in the tech industry.

Moreover, the province also invited 23 candidates each in the targeted draws for Childcare: Early childhood educators and assistants (NOC 42202) and for Healthcare occupations. All these immigration draws of British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) were aimed at addressing the shortage of skilled workers in the relevant fields and encouraging immigrants with the essential skills to settle in BC.

Largely, the targeted draws are part of the BC’s efforts to draw and retain skilled workers and professionals to support its economic growth and development.
