The IRCC has a target to issue 82,880 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) for Canadian PR visas in 2023, which is another sign of the country's promise of welcoming and integrating new immigrants. This record number of opening PR admissions in 2023 is a reflection of Canada's efforts to lure and retain the best talent from across the globe and highlights the country's candidness to diversity and inclusivity. Here are a few key factors that indicate that it is the perfect time to apply for PR visa in Canada.

  • Taking in account the early PR admissions in January and February 2023, the projected number of PRs by the end of this year may reach a record-breaking figure of 600,000. However, it is vital to note that this is a projected figure and subject to change based on numerous factors.
  • This year, the IRCC has been issuing a huge number of ITAs for Canadian PR visas. In fact, this year, from January 1 to April 12, 2023, the IRCC has already invited 41,059 candidates to apply for PR visas.
  • Between March 15 and April 12, 2023, approximately 25,000 candidates were invited to apply for Canadian PR (Permanent Resident) Visa, indicating that it is presently an ideal time to apply for Canadian PR
  • The CRS score requirement in the EE system is at its lowest level in the last two years, making it easier for skilled worker applicants to secure an Invitation to Apply (ITA) for Canadian PR.

Hence, all these factors clearly indicates that it is the best time to apply for PR (Permanent Residence) in Canada for the aspirants.
