Canada has invited 21,000 candidates for PR visa in just three Express Entry draws

The recurrent draws held by the Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) for Express Entry, i.e. one of Canada's most popular immigration programs, have been inviting a significant number of candidates for Canadian PR visa. In the most recent 3 draws conducted between 15-29 March 2023, the IRCC has issued record-breaking 21,000 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) for Canadian Permanent Residency (PR) Visa. This shows a significant rise in the number of candidates being invited to apply through EE system.

Besides, the IRCC issued 7,000 ITAs in each draw in the previous three draws, which is an exceptional number. Moreover, the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score requirement, has dropped to 481 points from the earlier 490 points (on 15th March). This constant fall in the CUT OFF ensures that more applicants are being selected for Canadian PR visa, making the program more accessible to a wide range of skilled worker applicants.

Key reasons to apply for Canada PR now

There are several reasons why it may be considered the best time to apply for Canada PR, including:

Increased number of ITAs: The recent Express Entry draws conducted by the IRCC have issued a record-breaking number of invitations to apply for Canada PR. This indicates that the Canadian government is looking to welcome a large number of immigrants to help grow the country's economy.
Drop in CRS score requirement: The CRS score requirement has been decreasing in recent draws, which means that more candidates are being selected for Canadian Permanent Residency. This may make the program more accessible to a broader range of individuals.
Constructive immigration policies: Canada has a constructive immigration policy. In last few months, the Government of Canada has taken various measures to ease the immigration process, enhance the system, reduce backlogs and as well as processing time of applications.
