Canadian Passport Ranked as World's Eighth Most Powerful Passport

As per the Henley Passport global Index Ranking, the Canadian passport has been ranked as the 8th most powerful passport in the world, sharing the spot with Australia, the Czech Republic, Malta and Greece.
Canadian passport grabbed this eighth position worldwide based on its freedom to travel. As of 20 July 2022, a Canadian passport holder can visit 185 countries and territories visa-free.
Other higher ranking nations, includes Japan, ranked at the top. A Japanese passport holders, have visa-free travel access to 193 countries. It was followed by Singapore and South Korea bagging the second position. While Spain and Germany tied for 3rd rank, and Finland, Luxembourg, and Italy tied for fourth.
