IRCC invites 1,980 candidates in all-category Express Entry Draw

Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) held a new Express Entry draw inviting total

1,980 candidates

registered under all categories of EE system, i.e.

Federal Skilled Worker (FSW)
Federal Skilled Trades (FST)
Canadian Experience Class (CEC)
Provincial Nominee Program (PNP)

This happens to be third draw this month and overall Express Entry draw no.290 since inception of the system.

ITAs issued- 1,980 ITAs (Invitations to Apply) for Canadian PR Visa issued

CUT OFF- The CRS score requirement for this draw was 524 points.

In the 12 express entry invitation rounds took place in 2024, the IRCC has issued total 25,195 ITAs for Canadian Permanent Resident (PR) Visa this year.

The number of invitations are decent in this current EE draw, however, the CUT OFF is bit high for the liking of the skilled worker applicants registered in the federal EE system. However, the positive thing for the applicants is the category-based Express Entry draws being opened by IRCC periodically.

These category-based invitation rounds invite the candidates with low CRS score provided their occupation is a high demand occupation or they have proficiency in the French Language.
