Latest Express Entry Draw

IRCC opened another all-program Express Entry draw on September 28 and recorded a slight fall in the CRS score, i.e., from 510 to 504 points.

Moreover, a record number of Invitations were also issued with 3,750 candidates being invited from the pool. The invitations were issued to candidates under all three Express Entry programs, including Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP), Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP) and Canadian Experience Class (CEC).

  • Draw Number: 232
  • Draw Date: 28-September-2022
  • Number of ITAs Issued: 3,750
  • Minimum CRS score requirement: 504 Points
  • Program Specified: All-Program
  • Tie-breaking rule:  May 02, 2022 at 17:17:32 UTC

Consistent Fall in CRS Scores

This all-program followed the previous trends of a gradually decreasing cut-off score requirement and a rise in the number of invitations to apply (ITAs) issued. The number of backlogged PR applications is being processed, resulting in gradual fall in the CRS score requirement with each draw. Since all-program Express Entry draws have resumed, the cut-off score has decreased to 53 points as a whole and a total of 17,250 ITAs have been issued.

Record Number of Immigration

Express Entry is undoubtedly one of the most popular and fastest pathways to Canada PR. Every year Canada invites more than 100,000 skilled workers via the Express Entry System.

So far in 2022, Canada has welcomed a record number of newcomers via Express Entry and if the same trend continues, it is possible that Canada might exceed its 2022 targets of inviting 430,000 newcomers.
