Manitoba Issued 11 LAAs to Ukrainians in 8th Special Measure MPNP Draw
On November 22, 2022, Manitoba held its 8th Special Immigration Measure Draw for Ukrainians and issued 11 LAAs (Letter of Advice to Apply) to people affected by ongoing events in Ukraine.
Since the onset of the ongoing situation in Ukraine, the provincial government of Manitoba has offered support for the Ukraine nationals and provided them safety and refuge. The province will continue to welcome Ukrainians to Manitoba and support them with all the services to help address their requirements and needs.

To qualify for LAA under this special draw, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Must be a citizen of Ukraine
- Must obtain a minimum of CLB 4 in all four language abilities
- Must have an established connection with Manitoba, like previous employment, past study, a close relative, or community
- Must obtain a minimum of 60 points on the MPNP assessment grid
