Manitoba PNP Invited Ukrainians in Special Measure Draw

On July 18, 2022, Manitoba held its 6th Special Immigration Measure Draw and issued 11 LAAs (Letter of Advice to Apply) to people affected by ongoing events in Ukraine.

Since the beginning of the ongoing situation in Ukraine, the Manitoba government has offered support for the Ukrainian nationals and provided safety and refuge to those suffering colossal loss.

The province will continue to welcome Ukraine nationals to Manitoba and support them with all the provincial services to address their needs and requirements better.

Eligibility Criteria- 18th July MPNP Draw

To qualify for LAA under this special draw, an applicant must meet the following criteria:

  • Must be a citizen of Ukraine
  • Must obtain at least CLB 4 in all four language skills
  • Must have established a connection with Manitoba, like previous employment, past study, a close relative, or community
  • Must obtain at least 60 points as per MPNP assessment criteria

Please note, a CUAET (Canada-Ukraine Authorization for Emergency Travel) holder working in Manitoba for a minimum of six months may qualify to apply as a Skilled Worker in Manitoba.
