New Alberta PNP draw- Alberta issues 150 NOIs with CRS score 372 points
In the 5th immigration draw of the AAIP- Express Entry stream held on March 30, 2023, Alberta issued 150 Notifications of Interest (NOIs) to apply for provincial nomination for Canadian PR visa. This draw of Alberta Advantage Immigration Program (AAIP) targeted the applicants with a family connection and primary occupation in demand with a CRS (Comprehensive Ranking System) score range of 300-500. The lowest ranked applicant who got an invitation had a CRS score of 372 points.
AAIP- Express Entry stream draw – 30 March 2023
The AAIP allows Alberta to nominate eligible candidates for PR visa in Canada. The program is designed to fulfil the specific economic and social requirements of the province by attracting skilled workers and entrepreneurs. The Express Entry stream of the Alberta PNP is linked to the federal immigration program Express Entry system, which manages the pool of applicants for three economic immigration programs, i.e.
- Federal Skilled Worker Class
- Federal Skilled Trades Class
- Canadian Experience Class
The CRS score is a points-based system used to assess the eligibility of candidates in the Express Entry pool.
In this AAIP draw, applicants with a CRS score of 372 points or over were selected. Alberta targeted applicants with a family connection and primary occupation in demand to make certain that they have the essential skills and support systems in place to make it in the province. The AAIP Express Entry stream is a competitive program, and applicants are stimulated to enhance their CRS (Comprehensive Ranking System) scores and meet the eligibility parameters to raise their chances of receiving an Notifications of Interest (NOIs) to apply for provincial nomination.
