Ontario announced an Updated on Entrepreneur Pilot

The Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) is recently announce an update on its Entrepreneur Pilot, which is being administered by the Toronto Business Development Centre (TBDC). This new pilot has been launched under OINP Entrepreneur Success Initiative (OINP-ESI) as part of the Ontario Economic Outlook and Fiscal Review 2021: Build Ontario.

It's one-of-a-kind initiative backed by Ontario’s Ministry of Labour, Immigration, Training and Skills Development and will support 100 immigrant entrepreneurs to set up and grow their businesses across Ontario and outside of the GTA (Greater Toronto Area).

The New Entrepreneur Success Initiative will offer services that:

• Will identify the opportunities for business creation and succession in communities outside GTA
• Will market Ontario's Entrepreneur Stream and business opportunities worldwide for create awareness among entrepreneurs
  
• Will support eligible entrepreneurs who wish to set up a new business or purchase and grow an existing business in communities outside GTA
  
• Will match eligible entrepreneurs with available business opportunities, based on their personal interests, business, and overall experience
  
• Will help eligible entrepreneurs submit their EOI (expressions of interest) under OINP's Entrepreneur Stream
  
• Will help EOI registrants with an ITA (invitation to apply) to submit applications under OINP's Entrepreneur Stream
