Ontario to nominate record number of immigrants for Canada PR in 2023
Ontario's PNP program, i.e. Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) has received record number of Nomination Allocation for 2023 from Canadian Federal Government. In a historic move, the Canadian government has announced a record-breaking allocation of 16,500 nominations for the OINP for the year 2023. This number is almost double the number of nominations Ontario received in the past year (i.e. 9,750).
The OINP is a popular provincial immigration program that invites, assesses, selects and nominates skilled and talented people from overseas for Canadian Permanent Resident (PR) visas. With this greater than before allocation, Ontario will be able to accept even more skilled workers and their families to contribute to the province's economy and various communities.
This nomination allocation is a evidence to Ontario's continued commitment to inviting and retaining capable immigrants who will help drive economic progress and innovation in the province. The OINP is a key pathway for eligible individuals to acquire permanent residency in Canada and enjoy all the aids of living and working in one of the world's most hospitable and prosperous countries.
