Prince Edward Island Invites 147 Candidates in Latest PEI PNP Draw
On September 15, 2022, Prince Edward Island opened its latest Expression of Interest (EOI) PNP draw and invited 147 eligible candidates under following categories:
- Business Work Permit Entrepreneur
- Labour Impact and Express Entry

Labour & Express Entry Category
- Number of ITAs issued: 142
- Minimum point requirement: N/A
Business Work Permit Entrepreneur Category
- Number of invitations issued: 5
- Minimum point requirement: 85
So far in 2022, PEI has invited a total of 1640 candidates to apply for nomination under Express Entry and Labour Impact categories and 136 under the Business Work Permit Entrepreneur stream.
About PEI PNP Express Entry & Labor Impact Stream
Express Entry stream allows PEI to nominate eligible candidates who qualify under any one of the Express Entry programs, i.e., Federal Skilled Trades, Federal Skilled Worker and Canadian Experience Class.
While Labour Impact Category is not linked with the Express Entry system. It is divided into following sub-categories:
- Skilled Workers (in and outside Canada)
- International Graduates
- Critical Workers
Business Impact: Work Permit Stream
To qualify under this stream, candidates must have a support letter from Prince Edward Island for temporary work permit and meet terms and conditions of PEI's business performance agreement.
