Prince Edward Island Issued 204 Invitations in Latest PEI PNP Draw
On October 20, 2022, Prince Edward Island opened its latest Expression of Interest (EOI) PNP draw and issued 204 invitations to eligible candidates under key PEI PNP categories:
- Business Work Permit Entrepreneur
- Labour Impact and Express Entry

Labour & Express Entry Category
- Number of ITAs issued: 121
- Minimum point requirement: N/A
Business Work Permit Entrepreneur Category
- Number of invitations issued: 11
- Minimum point requirement: 72
So far in 2022, PEI has invited a total of 1639 candidates to apply for nomination under Express Entry and Labour Impact categories and 137 under the Business Work Permit Entrepreneur stream.
About Prince Edward Island Provincial Nominee Program
The PEI’s Express Entry category works in association with Federal Express Entry system, which is designed to manage PR applications under three key economic immigration programs, including Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP), Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP) and Canadian Experience Class (CEC).
While, PEI's Labour Impact Category is for those foreign nationals who have a valid job offer from the province and a support from an employer in the PEI. This category is further divided into Skilled Worker, International Graduate and Critical Worker streams.
