The Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) is one of the key Provincial Nominee Programs (PNPs) of Canada. This year, the province of Saskatchewan is opening draws for SINP, consistently and inviting very high number of candidates under its International Skilled Worker (ISW) Category.

In September month alone, Saskatchewan has issued massive, i.e. 4,116 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) for provincial nomination for Canadian PR (Permanent Resident) Visa. In the most recent draw occurred on 28 September, the SINP invited record 1,146 candidates to apply for provincial nomination. 

Record Low Point score requirement in SINP draws

In September, province of Saskatchewan dropped the minimum score requirement or CUT OFF to as low as just 60 points, which are also the minimum qualifying marks to apply for Saskatchewan PNP.

In two draws, this month, the province has kept the minimum score to the lowest ever points. Highest number of Invitations to Apply (ITAs) for provincial nomination issued in a single draw this month are 943 invitations (in 7 September draw). Overall, in the year 2022, the Saskatchewan has issued total 8,294 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) in 15 SINP draws opened on different dates.

Saskatchewan PNP- ISW category

Saskatchewan invite most number of candidates under two main subcategories of International Skilled Worker (ISW) Category, i.e. 

  • Express Entry subcategory and 
  • OID (Occupation in Demand) Sub-category
