While, obtaining an ITA is rightly called as a formal start to their Canada immigration process where they qualify to submit an electronic application for permanent residence (eAPR) along with supporting documents.

At this point, even a minor mistake may lead to application rejection or inadmissibility to Canada.

Thus, you should avoid committing the following mistakes after receiving an ITA for Canada PR:

The first step after obtaining an ITA is to properly review your Express Entry profile to zero false or misleading information or incompletion. Otherwise, your application will be rejected due to false information or documentation submission.

Re-verify your eligibility

You must re-verify all the information entered in your Express Entry profile to ensure whether you are eligible or not. It is a must to ensure that no laws were changed or new rules were implemented and that you are still eligible for permanent residence of Canada.
